Good memories!!

Brad Ference here I met Gary through my brother Randy back in the mid 90s. Me and Gary hit it off right away. Both had a love of the out doors fishing hunting skidooing quading etc I visted Gary with my family a few times and our bond turned into a friendship which grew stronger with each visit. He heard from my brother I bought a little cabin In Lacombe I was going to move back to my home area of Consort for a little hunting and go to place to unwind from the patch. Gary told him to tell me to move it to his place its a closer move and better country. He always bugged me about where i was from. So I took him up on his offer and got to know Gary really well over the years. Brought my family and friends out numerous times over the years. Everyone loved Gary and always asked about him how he was doing and they always asked to go back. He liked when we would come out my wife would bring him a big box of Home made baking and jams I would bring him beer and chew. The last numerous years as my family grew we got out less just life got busy. I rode my Harley out a few summers ago we went quading for a couple days. And the last time I seen him was on the day before his passing. My wife daughter and myself went to Sundre to pick up some things from my brothers place and figured were this close we should run and visit Gary glad we did. Visited him and Brent from Olds was there. Any ways we loved Gary and we will miss him but will never for get him. Unfortunately i never heard about his service but Ive said many prayers for him. See you one day again buddy!
