ZWARICH
Christine Zwarich passed away peacefully on March 11, 2011. She was born on December 12, 1928 on the farm near Hilltop, Manitoba. She was the middle child of five born to John and Anne Boyko. Christine married Peter Zwarich on July 19, 1947. They farmed near Erickson, Manitoba until 1977, then moving to Alberta in 1978. They bought a house in Olds where they lived until Peter passed in 2003. Christine later moved into the Innisfail Country Lodge in February of 2009 until the present. Christine is survived by her five children; daughter Carole (Dave) Dmytriw of Minnedosa, MB and their three children Terry (Nadine) and great granddaughter Torryn all of Minnedosa, Chris Dmytriw of Winnipeg, MB and Cindy (Bruce) Brading and great grandchildren Nicholas and Wyatt all of Brandon, MB; son Larry (Geraldine) Zwarich of Olds and their two children Jennifer Zwarich (Ryan) and James Zwarich (Lee Ann) of Olds; son Leonard (Colleen) Zwarich of Princeton, BC and their son Eric of Nanaimo, BC; son Melvyn (Kathy) Zwarich of Fox Creek, AB and their two daughters Kaitlyn and Chelsea; and son Murray (Norine) Zwarich of Brooks, AB and their children Austin and Courtney. A memorial service will be held on Friday March 18, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Stephen’s Catholic Church with Father Maurice Okolie officiating. Memorial tributes in Christine’s honor may be made to the Alzheimer Society or Alberta Diabetes Foundation.
