Dorothy Ross was in her 93th year when she slipped away in the evening of Oct 13, 2017. Dorothy was born in Olds, Alberta. She married Bill Ross of Olds in 1948. Bill and Dorothy were married 68 years when Bill passed away on No28, 2016. Dorothy lived a full and healthy life while farming in the Hainstock area, and later as a resident of Olds. She was active in the community up until she developed Dementia. Dorothy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother. She is survived by; three children Harold, Marvin (Nims), Sandra (Darwin); three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents, two brothers and a loving husband. Funeral services will be held on October 20, 2017 at the First Baptist Church with Pastor Norm Tauber officiating. She was laid to rest during a private family ceremony at the Hainstock Cemetery alongside her parents and relatives.
