VERN MARTIN
May 14, 1929 – August 14, 2017
Vern passed away peacefully at the Innisfail Health Care Centre at the age of 88 years.
Vern was born in Edmonton, Alberta and upon graduating from college, he was employed with Texaco. Texaco transferred Vern to Innisfail in 1953 where Vern met the love of his life, Lorraine Bowe. This meeting resulted in 62 years of marriage and four children. Vern and Lorraine raised their family in central Alberta before fulfilling a long time desire to relocate to the Okanogan Valley for twenty five years.
In 2002 the couple moved back home to Innisfail where they resided until present day. Vern is survived by his loving wife, Lorraine and children: Brent, Lois, Carol (Frank) and Bobbi (David); twelve grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
