Obituary for Elaine Patricia Kleinsasser (Layden)

Elaine Patricia Kleinsasser (Layden)
Elaine Patricia Kleinsasser (Layden)
June 7, 1964 - September 16, 2016

Elaine Patricia Kleinsasser passed away suddenly Friday September 16th, 2016 at the age of 52 years old. Elaine was born June 7, 1964 in Innisfail, Alberta to loving parents Evelyn and James Layden; having plump, pinky cheeks she looked just like a little doll. She grew up on her family farm east of Innisfail and went to school in Innisfail. She took further education in Edmonton at W.P. Wagner School and later took a Home Economics course in Vermillion. She was predeceased by an infant brother Wesley James Layden and her father James Layden. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her mother Evelyn Layden (Dubas), her son Jamon Kleinsasser, her daughter Karleen Guhl (Dustin), grandsons Travis and Blake; the father of her children Gary Kleinsasser and her sister Madelene (Terry) Nafziger. She will also be remembered by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. As a child she spent countless hours with her dolls and teddy bears, she also enjoyed running for the mail and hanging clothes on the line. When she was 5 years old she was given a bicycle equipped with training wheels, in no time flat she had them removed and off for the fun of riding. Elaine was always very particular about details, and when she was younger she liked to cut the grass and tidy the yard. In her middle years, she enjoyed babysitting, doing crafts and working with her mom at Caring and Sharing gifts in Innisfail. We'll always remember her as one loving and caring for others, singing hymns and reading her bible. Recently she met and had a special friend James who was very kind and even accompanied her to our Meetings which was very enriching to her. She will always be remembered and in our hearts.
