Rose Eileen Ward
1935-2016

Eileen Ward passed away peacefully at the Hanna Hospital July 22, 2016 at the age of 81. Eileen was born March 11, 1935, in Castor, AB, to John and Rose Charles. On November 6, 1956, Eileen married the love of her life, Durward Ward and was blessed with four children. Eileen was an active member of the Hanna Community and will be dearly missed by many.
Eileen is survived and loved by her sons; Audie Ward (Karen Cowie), and Aaron Ward (Priscilla Dimaculangan); Grandchildren Samantha (Kyle) Schneyder, Alex Ward (Emily), Nick Ward (Jessie), Jesse Ward, Michael Ward (Brittney) and Sasha Ward (Eric); and four great-grandchildren, John, Jack, Pete, and Charlie.
She was predeceased by her husband Durward Ward (1981), and daughters Glenna Matheson (1980), and Gaylene Ward (1979).

A Service of Remembrance will be held on Friday, August 12, 2016, 1:00 P.M., at the First United Church in Hanna, Alberta, 808 Centre Street with Reverend Leila Currie officiating.

Eileen will be laid to rest with her daughters and husband at the Hanna Cemetery.
