It is with great sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Frank McHugh at his home, on Friday, June 14, 2019, 2019 at the age of 77 years. Frank was born in High River, Alberta on July 5, 1941 to Martin and Loretta McHugh. He is survived by his loving wife, Shirley, and their fabulous combined family consisting of children, Jim, Jennifer, Joanne, Carla, Francis, Greg, and Gary; grandchildren Rose, Clinton, Robert, Sterling, Richard, Alicia, Keven, Dallas, Michael, Tiana, Alana, Keilah, Cheyanne, Nathaniel, Olivia, and Sayda; great-grandchildren Blaze, Harrison, Kruze, Alden, and Kenai; and siblings, Carol, Dennis, Gerald, and Donald. Frank was predeceased by his much loved first wife Janet; his parents; and siblings Audrey, Allen, and Terrilea Ann. Prayers will be held on Thursday, June 20, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Sundre, Alberta. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, June 21, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church with reception to follow at the Sundre Elks Hall. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made directly to the Joanne Overguard Memorial Fund to the New Sundre Hospital of the Pediatric Cleft and Palate Clinic of the Calgary Children's Hospital.
