It is with great sadness to hear of Joe's passing, so sudden as it was. The neighborhood will not be the same without him. I will truly miss our backyard fires with Joe and Carrie. Joe was truly a great guy and I will miss him. Will miss his helpfulness, his laughter, his stories and maybe most of all his feet. I should maybe add some content to the feet thing. I drive by Joe and Carries' place at least twice per day everyday and most days I would see Joe's feet through the window as he sat in his chair. When I saw his feet I would wave. I don't know if he ever saw the wave, but I did give him a hard time about seeing his feet up so often (even though he was always a very busy guy). Wherever he is now I just know that he is busy building a deck for God, or possibly finishing St. Peter's basement. Love you Joe, continue to work hard and play hard.

Our deepest condolences to Carrie and their family. Carrie, Kevin and I are just down the street if you need anything or just want some company.

I was very luck in life to find a special bond with a very special person. You were like a brother to me. You listened, we laughed, we cried. We walked a few dark alleys and a lot of bright sunny garden paths though out our lives. Ditcher and Digger forever.
You are an inspiration to me. My heart is sad. I will miss that very unique laugh of yours. I love you Joe.
Carrie and family my deepest condolences.
I am so glad your Joe touched all of our lives in such a profound way.

Words cannot capture the essence of Joe. He was the first person to offer help when anyone needed it. He always had a smile and was ready at the end of the day for Happy Hour.
Joe organized more get togethers, pot lucks (usually wanting to know who was bringing what - to ensure there were more then just salads), shuffleboard tournaments, happy hours, etc. It was a rare day when Joe didn’t beat the “guys” on the golf course! He just couldn’t sit still - Joe was always busy. Joe and Carrie had the cleanest vehicle in Yuma - it got polished every morning!
We will miss hearing Joe’s whistle on his way over to our place. He knew just about everyone in the Park..and had the news of what was going on.
Carrie and Joe made up our Yuma family..and will be a part of that family for years to come.
Our hearts are breaking for you Carrie. I hope that pictures and all the beautiful memories will help you and your family going forward.
Bruce and Karen

Joe, We will all miss you. It is going to be sad every time we "saddle up" to go play golf. Rest in peace my good friend. Gary
