Obituary for Rhonda Lynette Reierson (Robins)

RHONDA REIERSON
1966 – 2019
Rhonda Lynette Reierson was a wonderful mother to Eric and Matt and had a beautiful life partnership with Steve. She passed away peacefully on February 3, 2019. Her family spent her last days and hours by her side. She left this world surrounded by music and love.
Rhonda entered this world on July 27, 1966, also surrounded by love. She was the youngest child of Cliff and Mona Robins and baby sister to Dwayne, Lyle and Darren. She loved the family farm where she grew up, overlooking the Battle River, west of Wetaskiwin. Rhonda went to school at Sylvan Heights School and Pigeon Lake Regional High School and she graduated from The University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Education degree in 1988.
Rhonda was a great friend and a dedicated and highly respected social worker but the most important part of her life was her boys. She loved Steve, Eric and Matt with all of her heart and soul. She left behind three strong and compassionate men who truly adored her. She cherished her parents and her brothers. She so enjoyed all of her nieces and nephews, and their children, who benefited from her gentle, caring and fun-loving nature. Rhonda will be sadly missed by her husband: Stephen and sons Eric and Matthew, as well as brothers and sisters, Dwayne and Monica, Lyle and Louann, Darren and Louise, Lynn and Jason, Ann and David, David and Stacey, and by Steve’s parents, Lawrence and Miriam. Her many nieces and nephews, and their children, will miss and remember her often. Rhonda was predeceased by her parents, Clifford and Mona Robins and her grandparents, Carl and Lena Brown and Arthur and Helen Robins
A Celebration of Rhonda’s life will be held at the Bowden Paterson Community Hall, Bowden, Alberta on Saturday, February 9, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
Rhonda’s family would like to extend their thanks to the staff at the Tom Baker Center in Calgary and to all of the nursing and support staff at the Innisfail Hospital who took such care with Rhonda and showed kindness and compassion to her family. Special thanks to friends and neighbour’s who in so many ways nourished Steve, Eric, Matthew and all of the family who were here to support them. We are very grateful.
