Obituary for Paula Joelle Kingsley

PAULA KINGSLEY
It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Paula Joelle Kingsley on January 22, 2019 at the age of 40. Too young! Paula was born in Red Deer, Alberta on January 21, 1979. She is survived by her loving and wonderful husband Nathan, two awesome boys Hudson (2 years), and Bennett (2 months). She was deeply loved by her loving family: sister Katie Lutz; her mom JoAnne Dulaney, husband Steve and step-sister Sarah; her dad Duane Lutz, wife Carolee and step brother Tommy, wife Chelsea and their children. She was deeply cherished by her mother-in-law and father-in-law Vera and Gary Kingsley, and sister-in-law and husband Anisa and Casey and their children. She was adored by her Grandpa Godfrey Lutz as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends near and far. She has been warmly welcomed to heaven by her grandparents who have gone before her – Grandpa Troy Dulaney, Gram Amy Dulaney, and Grandma Norma Lutz.
Paula was wise, smart and well respected at work. Paula is well known and loved for her literary skills. She put all of those qualities into raising her boys. After achieving honors in high school, she went on to complete a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications at Mount Royal University. She held many esteemed positions for the Government of BC in Human Resources and Department of Justice. More recently she enjoyed her work as Senior Analyst for Alberta Health Services in Calgary and then in Red Deer. She loved to travel and enjoyed many international adventures. Paula’s deep faith was her connection to everything. It’s what modeled her character, relationships and life. Those were the driving forces of Paula and Nate’s parenting style. Paula’s greatest legacy will be her boys. With tears and memories full of laughter, Paula is greatly missed and remembered fondly.
A Celebration of her Life will be held at the Innisfail Church of the Nazarene, Saturday January 26, 2019 at 1:00pm. In lieu of flowers a Trust Account has been set up for Hudson and Bennett any donations can be etransfer to Bennettandhudson@gmail.com.
