He was born to Cornelius and Julie Pearson in Alma Quebec. In his younger years he worked at oil camps first learning the trade of baking and shortly after that as a main cook. After retiring he did some wood work as a hobby to which one of his specialities was a really cool wooden rocking horse to which he picked up the blue print and idea from his brother Paul. His favorite pass time was watching nature shows as well as sports especially his beloved Montreal Canadians hockey team. Guy loved animals especially dogs to which he always carried dog treats to share with them on his way. He would spend countless hours in his rocking chair on the porch watching the many birds that were flying in and out his occupied bird hotels. Guy was known to many in Sundre as the stubborn French man however had a heart of gold by making daily fresh bread to give to many neighbours, friends, and local merchants.
