Obituary for Marjorie Joyce Rogan

Print
Mrs. Marjorie Joyce Rogan, loved by many, died peacefully on November 20, 2018 with family at her side. Marj was born in Calgary and raised on a farm in Springbank. Her favorite childhood memory was of riding her horse to school. Marj loved her family and her pets, encouraged birds into her backyard and could make any houseplant grow. She cheered for the Stampeders and the Flames and loved watching the Chuckwagon races during the Stampede - a true Calgarian. After spending five years travelling in an RV, Marj and Clem chose to settle in Innisfail in 1994 to make new friends and enjoy watching their grandchildren grow. They began making and selling crafts at various markets and managed the Innisfail Farmers’ Market for nine years. Marj is survived by her loving husband, Clem, eight children – Russell, Caroline, Rick (Karen), Lori-Ann, Raymond (Jane), Mike (Debbie), Sandi and Vivian, sixteen grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, and her beloved dog, Peppy. She is predeceased by her parents, three brothers, and two daughters (Susan and Lynn). In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society of Canada would greatly by appreciated. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Special thanks to Dr. Maree, Dr. Odendaal, Innisfail Home Care, Red Deer Home Care, Sunset Manor, and Villa Marie for their care and support. Heartland Funeral Services Ltd., Innisfail, Alberta entrusted with arrangements. 403-227-0006. www.heartlandfuneralservices.com
