CHARLES “NURI” EMSHEY
1944 - 2017

Mr. Charles Nuri Emshey, known by his middle name to friends and family, was born December 30, 1944. He died with grace and dignity nearly 73 years later on November 1, 2017. He spent many years living in Calgary and Innisfail, but his heart was always with his hometown of Bowness. Nuri loved reading, golf, football, hockey, movies, and more than anything his family, who treasure his memory and share the love he left behind. He joins loved ones who have gone already, where he'll wait with a smile, for loved ones yet to come.
A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, November 8th at 1:00 p.m. at the Bowness Scout Hall (8551 Bowness Rd NW, Calgary, AB). There will be a short service followed by a light lunch and refreshments.
