Walter and Dorothy resided on the farm until 2011 where they then moved into the town of Olds. Walter attended Olds College in 1945 and the Christian Training Institute in Edmonton from 1946-1948. He enjoyed music and singing in the church choir, men’s quartets and serving faithfully FOR many years at East Olds Baptist Church as Sunday school superintendent and church clerk. Walter’s faith was an integral part of his life working to please the Lord in all aspects. He was hardworking, honest and a devoted father and husband.
