Condolences

Condolence From: Joanne (McLeod) Finocchiaro
Condolence: I found my Mom (Jean McLeod's) address book tonight and decided I would google some of my Mom's friends and Rose's obituary popped up. My Mom loved Rose Vennard, would leave Calgary when she was stressed and head to Rose's cabin by the river. I'm sorry I missed this funeral.

Condolence From: Terry and Sharon Allen and family
Condolence: Our deepest sympathy to Rose's family. We had a cabin next to Rose and Everett 35 years and shared many games of crib and many cups of coffee as well as many laughs and good times. We have many happy memories of a wonderful feisty and fun-loving woman.

Condolence From: Jake and Roxy
Condolence: It is with heavy hearts we send our deepest sympathy to the Vennard Family. Jake and I have many fond memories of curling against Rosie and sharing many laughs on the ice and off. Rosie had a contagious laugh and a beautiful soul. It was a pleasure to have got to know her. Take care and may all the memories of dear Rosie bring you all comfort in the days ahead.

Sincerely
Roxanne Knapp & Elaine Taylor & Families

Condolence From: Tom and Rhonda Clements
Condolence: Our deepest condolences to all of Rose's family. Rose was a beautiful lady, full of life with an infectious smile to greet everyone. We were very fortunate to be a neighbor at Coal Camp of Roses. We enjoyed many precious visits with her and will miss her quad coming up the road to visit. We will cherish her memories as God has taken another beautiful soul home. Rose
will be dearly missed by all her Coal Camp neighbors and friends. We unfortunately will not be able to attend her celebration of life as we are away.

Condolence From: Jan and Judy Madsen
Condolence: We have to echo Bob Wilson's stories about Rose. We are the neighbours on the other side of Rose. She was quite the gal. We always enjoyed her quick wit and ability to recall life long ago at Coal Camp or instantly give an opinion on current events. There were lots of laughs.
Many years ago when we came to visit Jan's parents at the cabin we would find Rose and Everett, Alex and Eva Leew and Vaughn and Erna Madsen lined up on the river bank fishing until the sun went down, Rose loved her fishing and her favourite meal was a white fish fresh from the river. The rest are gone now, Rose was the last one. Life in Coal Camp has changed.
We are so very sorry will not be there to say our final goodbyes. She always ended our visits with an I love you, and we felt the same.
We will miss Rose, she was a great neighbour. She was and will always be the Matriarch of Coal Camp.

Condolence: To Roses family.
My most sincere sympathy to all of you. I have many pleasant memories of Rose when she visited Grace in Vancouver but real nice memories from the cabin, She was a very generous lady and also liked a good laugh. Ask Vi and Robert who I am if you do not recognize who I am. She will be missed.
