Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Fredrick Zielke can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

FRED ZIELKE
1922 – 2016

Mr. Fredrick Karl Zielke of Innisfail, Alberta passed away peacefully on May 5, 2016 at the age of 93 years. He was born near Lipton, Saskatchewan to parents Adolph and Amelia Zielke. Fred moved to Alberta around 1960 where he raised his family and based his work from.
Fred left behind a Heritage of Honor to his family; 4 children and their spouses; one son, James (Charlene) Zielke, three daughters; Dustine (Rob) Kinsella, Connie (Chris) Schoeb, Eileen (Aubrey) Krahn, along with eight grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. Fred was predeceased by his wife Lorraine and his daughter Gail Kelly.
Fred’s legacy of Honor and hard work will be forever remembered along with his deep convictions and example of family and community values. All his family and friends will miss him for his Banjo playing, his humor, kindness, and especially his friendship & hospitality.
A Celebration of Fred’s Life will be held at the Innisfail Church of the Nazarene on Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at 11:30 a.m. with a luncheon to follow.
