OBITUARY for Ben Neufeld in the Didsbury Review

Benjamin (Ben) Neufeld was born on November 2nd, 1923 in Didsbury and passed away on April 13th, 2016 at the Abbotsford Regional Hospital in BC at the age of 92.

Ben is survived by his wife Lillian (Wilson) Neufeld, children Linda Neufeld, Jerry (Charlene) Neufeld, Lyle Neufeld and Marjorie (Richard) McCue. Step-children, Bill (Annelise) Wilson, Terri Wilson, Sherry Wilson. Grandchildren, Elise (James) Davenport, Ben (Trish) Neufeld, Tim (Amber) Neufeld and Joel (Meghan) Neufeld and two step granddaughters. Great grandchildren, Sam, Jake, Lenae and Annika Davenport, Addison, Emery, Meeka, Asher, AJ, Eva and Brinley Neufeld. Brothers Frank (Susie), Erdman, Dave (Martha), John (Selma), Rueben (Edna), Leonard (Ann) and sister Esther (Alex) Christiansen. Brothers-in-law, Aaron (Lydia) Derksen and David (Sara) Derksen, sisters-in-law Sarah (Harvey) Neufeld and Ordina Erickson. Plus many nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was predeceased by his parents; C.A. and Margaretha Neufeld, first wife Olga (Derksen) Neufeld, great grandson Ryker Neufeld, brother Henry, sister Frieda, brothers-in-law Andrew Derksen, Henry Bartsch and Abe Martins, sisters-in-law Edna Neufeld and Ellen Neufeld.
Memorial Services will be held at Tabor Court Chapel, Abbotsford, BC and at Bergthal Menonnite Church, Didsbury. Burial will be held at Bergthal Menonnite cemetery in Didsbury.
