It is with saddened hearts that we announce the tragic passing of Barry Wayne Leach of Bowden, Alberta on Sunday, September 9, 2018 at the age of 62 years. A very unfortunate accident took the life of this good, honest and gentle man. Barry was born to parents Ronald and Donna Leach and is survived by his mother: Donna, his brother: Donald (Trudy) Leach, his sister: Barb (Wolf) Krieger; his daughter: Amanda (Tyson) Rivet and his two grandchildren: Ben and Brooklyn ;and his stepson: Cody (Andrea) Landry and grandson Odin. He will also be missed by his life partner Michele Nelson; along with a large family of very close relatives. Barry was a very compassionate man whether he was taking care of his family or the animals that he loved so much on the farm. He always told great stories of his life that were full of wisdom and a lot of times humor that helped comfort and teach the people he loved. He was a great fisherman and auto body painter, a dedicated farmer, but most of all an amazing father. He touched the lives of so many people and his loss will be felt by the many that had the opportunity to know such a good man. May he rest in peace.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #104, Innisfail, Alberta on Monday, September 17, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. If friends so desire memorial tributes may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Alberta Cancer Foundation.
