LOU BEAGAN
1945 - 2018
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Louis Gerard Beagan, age 73 years, on Friday, July 27, 2018, following a seven month journey with aggressive cancers. He passed with great courage, kindness, strength and wit, surrounded by the love of friends and family. Lou was a family man who touched people’s hearts in extraordinary ways. Originally from P.E.I, Lou also lived in Halifax, Toronto, Kamloops, and finally Innisfail. Loving husband of Pauline (nee Harry), cherished father of Rebecca (Stefan), Tara (Andy) and Patrick (Silverius), grandfather of Owen and Diana. Lou is the beloved son of the late Herbert and Catherine (nee Corrigan) Beagan. He is predeceased by his brothers, Tom (Doreen), Joseph, Michael (Leona) and his four infant sisters. As Lou made his transition to be with Creator, he was devotedly supported by family from near and far. He is lovingly remembered by sisters-in-law Leona and Doreen, brother-in-law, Richard, nieces Sandy, Judi, Brenda, Cathy (Ken), Kathleen, Denise, Christine, nephews Herb (Katie), Michael, Kevin and grandnephew Conor. All friends and family are welcome to the Celebration of Life that will take place on Thursday, August 2, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #104 Innisfail, Alberta. A private family interment will follow the reception. In lieu of flowers, the family would be honoured if donations were made in Lou’s memory to The Lending Cupboard or the Innisfail Public Library.
