It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved son Ryan David McBeath on March 13, 2018. Born October 27, 2000 at Rockyview Hospital in Calgary and raised in the community of Olds by his parents Shannon (Barr-Matile), Barry and brother Robert McBeath. Ryan leaves behind his beautiful girlfriend Avery Schem along with countless, memorable friends. Ryan, we will miss you. You will live frozen in the warmth of our hearts forever until the day we will see you again. Thank you to all the family, friends, and those who loved Ryan who have given support by stopping by, sending flowers, thoughts and prayers in this time of need. The grace and caring of the hockey community is all encompassing, as is the grace and caring of the Olds community that always supports its own. Ryan will be forever missed by his parents Shannon Barr-Matile and Barry McBeath; brother Robert McBeath; grandmothers Barbara (George) and Leola; grandfather Ralph(Brenda); aunts Kim, Maureen (Tex), Gayle (Bob); uncles Robert (Ingrid), Gary (Donna); as well as numerous great aunts, great uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his grandfather Keith Barr.
