Obituary for Marlene Manship (White)

Marlene Elizabeth (White) Manship
February 16, 1941 – January 29, 2018

Mrs. Marlene Manship passed away at the Red Deer Hospice Society on Monday, January 29, 2018 at the age 76 years. Marlene was an active member of the community in which she lived. She was dedicated to her church in many aspects, active with the Dickson Store and a long time member of the Loyal Order of the Moose Chapter #1460. Marlene was also a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and especially loved any baby that she could possibly hold and cuddle. She is survived by her loving husband of 32 years Alan W. Manship and their children: Sharon (Bruce) Marshall, Kathy (Morgen) Berg, Donna (Doug) Tubb, and Byron (Judy) Olson; also by eight granddaughters, one grandson, three great grandsons and four “fur babies”. She will also be missed by her brother-in-law Steve Tarasuk, sister-in-law Lillian (Edward) Neale and stepdaughter Sandra (Calvin) Haugen and numerous nieces, nephews and many friends. The family would like to thank the Doctors and staff at the Innisfail Health Care Centre and also the Red Deer Hospice Society for the care given to Marlene.
A Memorial Service will be held at the King of Kings Lutheran Church (Dickson, Alberta) on February 5, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to the Red Deer Hospice Society (99 Arnot Ave., Red Deer, Alberta T4R 3S6)
