Condolence: As well as being my 2nd cousin, Vaun was a great friend of our family and especially a role model for my late husband Grant. Stonehockers took him into their home when we were preparing to move to Innisfail in 1976 and took such good care of him - we have loved and appreciated them ever since. Grant always said Vaun was the most accepting man he’d ever met. Vaun will be sorely missed; but I’m sure there was a great reunion in heaven of the Innisfail ward “elementary school breakfast crew”.
