PATRICIA ANNE TINGEY
1939 – 2017
Mrs. Pat Tingey passed away at the Innisfail Health Care Centre on November 5, 2017 at the age of 78 years. Pat was born on May 7, 1939 in Trail, British Columbia where she grew up. She later joined the R.C.A.F. from 1957 – 1959. Pat married in 1959 and started a family of three; her eldest son James (Tammy), middle son Kenneth (Meg), and daughter Tracey Gresdal; stepchildren: Robert, Arthur (Maryanne), Lynette (Troy) and eleven grandchildren: Eden Gresdal, Steven Dezall, James W. Budd, Kurtis Dezall, Robyn Tingey, Sarah Gresdal, Lyla – Jean Dezall, Quinlan Tingey, Morgan Gresdal, Angela Dezall and Jarvis Tingey. Pat was predeceased by her husband Ed Tingey.
Pat was a Royal Canadian Legion member and won many awards for bowling, darts, shuffleboard and crib. She also loved her time spent camping.
A Celebration of Pat’s life will be held at the Heartland Funeral Services Chapel on Friday, November 10, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. If friends so desire memorial tributes may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
