GEORGE EASTON
1938 – 2017

George Walter Easton passed away suddenly on October 15, 2017 at the Didsbury Hospital in Didsbury, Alberta. George was born July 25, 1938 in Fort Frances, Ontario. George spent over twenty-two years serving in the Canadian Armed Forces. After retiring from the army he worked at the Didsbury Hospital maintenance department for eleven years. George leaves behind his wife Ruby; his sons George (Cindy) and Scott (Miriam); his grandchildren Brandon, Jesse, Collin (Christine) and Rosilyn (Taylor); as well as his two brothers Don and Jim. He was predeceased by his parents Stuart and Ila Easton and his brother Jack. A Memorial Service was held on Thursday October 19, 2017 at the Knox United Church in Didsbury, Alberta. Memorial tributes may be made directly to the Alzheimer Society of Alberta or the Tom Baker Cancer Centre – Foothills Hospital.
