Condolences

Condolence From: Jim Ogden
Condolence: As a soldier in 2PPCLI, we never knew him as Kenneth. He was known as 'Porky' and I think he didn't mind that handle. A true soldier and a friend to all in our Battalion. He was a true gentleman and he will be surely missed.

Condolence From: Alan Mathieson
Condolence: To Family and Friends,

I met Ken in early 1990 when I visited my parents Jock and Del Mathieson who were fortunate enough to live next door to Ken. During later visits I got to know Ken and was always impressed by his honesty and compassion helping my parents with minor home repairs, snow clearing and yard work. After my fathers passing he never hesitated to lend a hand whenever my mother needed some help, even if that meant a trip to Tim Horton's late at night to bring back a coffee and doughnuts or replacing light bulbs because Mom was lonely.

To family and friends we send you thoughts of peace and courage and heart felt condolences from the Mathieson family; Alan, Susan, and Jane.
