It is with great sadness that the Ingalls family announces the sudden passing of Murray Ingalls. Born in Calgary, Alberta on September 11th, 1936, Murray Robert Ingalls of Hanna, Alberta (51 years) passed away in the Red Deer General Hospital on Sunday, December 4, 2016 at the age of 80 years old.

Murray is survived by loving wife Margaret Ingalls (of 52 years) and sons Greg (wife Lauren, son Wilson, daughter Emery), Kevin (wife Kathy, daughters Madeline and Grace, sons Eric and Danny), and Dean (wife Julie, daughters Gillian and Emma), brother Norman Ingalls and sister Marion Randall and family.

Murray was pre-deceased by parents Harvey and Marine Ingalls of Kathyrn, Alberta as well as brother in law Harold Randall.

Murray left Kathyrn, Alberta to pursue his love of hockey at the Royal Military College in Kingston, Ontario and completed his education at SAIT in Calgary in 1958. He received his Alberta Land Surveyors commission in 1961. Murray finally fully retired from Special Areas in Hanna at the age of 79.

He was a very active member of the Hanna community. Murray enjoyed golfing in Hanna as a member of the Hanna Golf and Country Club for the past 41 years as well as many years curling at the Hanna Curling Club.

Murray and Margaret enjoyed spending the last 20 winters down south in El Centro, California golfing and socializing with many Hanna friends. When they weren't in Hanna or El Centro, Murray's passion for cruising inspired he and Margaret would cruise all over the world.

In memory of Murray, donations can be made to St. George's Catholic Church, Box 1299, Hanna, Alberta, T0J 1P0.
