The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Oscar Nelson can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: We hope that you and your family can find strength during this most difficult time. When we lose someone we dearly love, it can really leave a deep void. But that empty feeling will soon fade away, and good memories will replace the pain you now feel, and you’ll catch yourself smiling again, thinking of the good times you enjoyed. To help you get through the next while, please read some comforting scriptures from God’s word. It really helps at times like this. First, be assured that your loved one is not hurting anymore. (Read Ecclesiastes 9:5) Secondly, it’s as though they’re asleep. (Read John 11:11) Thirdly, you’ll have a chance to be with them, and embrace them once again, when they will be resurrected back to perfect life right here on earth. (Read John 5:28, 29). Lastly, you and your loved ones have the chance to live together forever in perfect health, and never die again. (Read Psalms 37: 9-11, 29, Isaiah 25:8) We hope that these promises bring you comfort now, and a sure hope to see your loved one again in the near future.
